Instrument Repair

Need a repair for your guitar?

My repair philosophy is simple; I will do my utmost best to utilize current process, tools, and high quality materials to “fix what ails” your instrument.  I offer simple set up services, fret leveling, nut and saddle replacement, action adjustments, all the way to major rebuilds. I do neck resets, neck and fingerboard replacements, crack repair, and brace repair and re-gluing.  I will typically take up to a half hour with an instrument to diagnose issues and advise on repair needs and provide an estimate of expense and time to complete.  In general I run about a 3 week backlog but can sometimes turn simple repairs around in a matter of days.  I do not repair electronics or electric guitars.  I currently charge $80.00 per hour for all repair work.  Should you need repairs or just some maintenance such as a set up and “oil change”, reach out to me via the contact page and we will get your instrument back to shape!

Not only did we communicate perfectly on the work I needed done (acoustic guitar), but he also finished on time with amazing work. It was refreshing to work with a skilled professional that also has a great attitude with the customer. I will highly recommend Daniel Kenney Guitars in the future.”

“Recently had my old Alvarez Yairi 1986 guitar TOTALLY overhauled. Years if neglect, low humidity, scratches, dents, and 2 cracks lovingly and expertly soothed and repaired! My dear old friend is delightful to play once again….maybe better than ever! Thanks Dan!!! Who’s better than you?!”
